Lois Ries

On Mother’s Day May 12, 2013 Jesus came to lead Lois Rebecca (Doelfel) Ries age 90, of Lincoln Place to her home. A servant to Jesus, Lois was a very active member of Lincoln Place Church of the Nazarene and held weekly Bible studies in her home. Beloved wife of the late George P. Ries, loving mother to Robert G. (Divinia) Ries of Goshen Indiana and Ardith L. Ries of Pittsburgh. Sister to Margaret ‘Peg’ Jackson of Beaver, Pa., Betty Jean Fay and David (Judy) Doelfel of Florida. Cherished Grandmother to J. Scott (Jodi) Ries, Eric (Melissa) Ries,  Myra (Pat) Simpson and Vergel Stemm, Great Grandmother to Grace, Lauren, Jason, Cassia, Ashlyn, Hunter, Zachary and Chamryn. Her loving cats Molly and Roxie will miss her too. Friends received at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday 9 to 10:30 A.M. Funeral service will be in Lincoln Place Church of The Nazarene on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M.
