Alexander Muir

Alexander I. Muir, 89, of Munhall, on March 26, 2011. Beloved husband of Virginia Ruth (Redshaw) Muir for over 69 years; loving father to Virginia Ruth (late Peter) Ketterer of Christianburg, VA and Alexis (Soloman) Sheplar of Warren, PA; brother of Betty (Vincent "Brub") McCloskey of Munhall; cherished grandfather to James, Janet and Soloman; and great-grandfather to Ty and Madison. Alex was a retired caseworker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S. Army veteran and a member of Anne Ashley United Methodist Church, member and Past Master of Homestead-Amity-McCandless Lodge # 582 F&AM, and many other Masonic Bodies.
