Alexander was born in Fairmont, WV the son of the late Alexander and Ota (Carter) Williams, Sr;

He was a US Army Korean War Veteran and a retired Press Maintainer from Continental Can Co;

Beloved husband of Mary L. (Winemiller) Williams;

Cherished father of Joseph (Susan) and Thomas (and the late Hilary) Williams;

Special grandfather of Daniel and Katherine Williams;

Brother of Billie May (Williams) Sanders, Charles Lee and William David Williams, and the late Bertha (Williams) Vandergrift, Carl Lloyd and Harold Donald Williams;

Friends received Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall (412-461-6394) where services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Walney officiating.
