On Sunday, April 30, 2023, Andrew Paul Duchai, III went home to be with our Lord, at the age of 74. Andrew was born December 19, 1948, at Kindley Air Force Base in Bermuda to his late parents Andrew Paul, Jr. and Antionette B. (Panisco) Duchai. He is survived by his loving brother, Paul Duchai, of Bururesti, Romania, and many dear friends at the Turtle Creek Valley Residential Community Services (TCV), where Andrew lived.
Andrew was a devout Pittsburgh sports fan, living and breathing all things Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. He was also a movie buff, with John Wayne flicks ranking at the top of his list of favorites. Andrew also enjoyed following the exploits of the British Royal Family, especially that of Queen Elizabeth II.
Andrew was a great friend who will be missed by all who knew him, especially his roommates at TCV, John and Jim, and all of the staff there. The passing of Andrew leaves behind a hole in the TCV Community, as he truly saw everyone there as his family.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 (412)461-6394), where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM with Deacon Ron presiding. A procession to Andrew’s place of Eternal Rest in St. Michael Cemetery (West Mifflin, PA) is to follow.
