Ann Bonacorso, 102, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories of a life well-lived.
Ann is preceded in death by her beloved husband Gus, an Infant Son, Sister Viola and Brothers Dominic and Albert. Survived by her loving children Joe (Judi) Bonacorso, Anita (Grady) Bryant and Carol (Rob) Weiss. Grandchildren Michael, Tony (Jamie), Alyson (boyfriend Justin) and Andy (Alex Jordan), Great- Grandchildren Elliot, Julina, Oliver and Giavanna, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Throughout her life, Ann cherished spending time with her family. Her love and dedication to them were unwavering; she always created a warm and inviting atmosphere whenever they gathered together. Ann's memory will forever live on through the cherished moments spent in each other's company.
Beyond her role within the family circle, Ann played an active part within her community. As a member of St. Therese Church and School for many years, she humbly dedicated herself to serving others through her unwavering faith. Her commitment to her religious community was evident in the countless hours she devoted to various charitable projects and volunteering with boundless enthusiasm.
Moreover, Ann took great pride in her Italian heritage and embraced it wholeheartedly. She became a proud member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, fostering connections with fellow members whilst celebrating their shared culture and traditions. Through these associations, she found camaraderie and established lasting friendships that enriched her life. Ann enjoyed spending time with fellow members of the Card Club. Creating wonderful memories over card games brought immense happiness to her life.
Ann Bonacorso will be forever missed and remembered as a pillar of love and compassion. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, let us hold her memories close to our hearts. May her legacy continue to inspire us to be kinder, more welcoming souls, just as she was throughout her remarkable journey.
