Carol L. Hess

Carol L. (Baum) Hess, age 82, of West Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday,  September 26, 2023. Born to late parents John and Anna (Friedline) Baum on May 11, 1941, Carol happily grew up with brother Bill Baum and sister Annamae (Baum) Yatsko in Homestead, both of whom precede her in death. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Theodore, with whom she raised a wonderful family of three sons: Greg (Carol), Mark (Valerie), and Scott (Marsha) Hess. From there Carol was bless with three grandchildren: Amber, Jacob, & Chelsea; many nieces and nephews; and 5 great-grandchildren: Lili, Sydney, Gavin, Harry, & Amelia. Carol will be deeply missed not only by her family and friends, but by all whom knew her. Carol loved nothing more than traveling, camping, fishing, golfing, and bowling. She also loved animals and her days spent down at the casino.
