Charlotte Close

Charlotte (Powell) Close, age 69, of Munhall went to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2012.
Beloved wife of 48 years to Ken, devoted mother to Lori Noll (Chuck Noll) of West Mifflin and the late Ken Close II (Amy Evancho), grandmother “G” of Ashley Valocik, Step-Grandmother to Lindsey and Ryan Noll of West Mifflin, sister of Gloria Hardington (Tom Hardington) of Rocky River, Ohio, Aunt and friend to many; she had a gift for making all feel welcome. Charlotte was very involved at the McKeesport Missionary Alliance Church as Head Deaconess and will be remembered for her wonderful generosity, loving and giving heart, angelic singing voice and always greeting everyone with a smile and a hug. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, March 7th from 2-4 P.M and 6-9 P.M. at George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall (412-461-6394).  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8th at 11AM, Missionary Alliance Church, McKeesport. In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to the Missionary Alliance Church Youth Fellowship (938 Summit Street, McKeesport, PA 15132)
