Clement Braszo

Braszo, Clement C.

On Friday December 10, 2010 age 86 of Munhall. Beloved husband for 61 years of Helen (Simko) Braszo; loving father of John (Lori) Braszo, Carol Creighton, Joan (David) Simon, and the late Diane Brannen; Cherished grandfather of Tori and Abigail Creighton; loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents John and Ella (Wargo) Braszo, Sister Florence Soffa and brothers Raymond and Ivan Braszo Sr.  Clement was a 1942 graduate of Central Catholic H.S., the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School.  He was a WW II Veteran.  He taught in the Pittsburgh Public School System.  In 1961, he went to work for the Commonwealth and retired as a District Supervisor for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.  Prior to his retirement, he was a part time lecturer at Duquesne University, Indiana University of PA Graduate School, and a guest lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh.  Friends received Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394.  Divine Liturgy will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Cathedral Munhall.
