Donna Shimrock - May

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Shimrock May, who departed this life on February 23rd, 2025. Born on April 26th, Donna was a beloved member of the West Homestead, PA community, known for her strength, caring nature, and infectious humor.

Proceeded in death by her Father Milan Shirmock and Mother Margaret Shimrock. She is survived and will be profoundly missed by her loving husband, John F. May, her sister Dianne (deceased Paul) Cain; her brother, Milan Darryl Shimrock; her nieces, Ashley Cain and Courtney (Daniel) Suba; and her great-niece, Madelyn Suba, and great-nephew, Ethan Suba.

In her life, Donna touched many hearts with her kindness and laughter. She was a strong and caring individual who brought joy to those around her. Her legacy of love will live on in the memories of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Donna's life, on Saturday, March 1, 2025 with visitation from 9 -9:30am at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Mian Street, Munhall 15120 followed by a Memorial Mass  at 10am in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish - St. Maximilian Kolbe Worship Site.  Interment will be at Braddock Catholic Cemetery after the Memorial Mass. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that donations be made either to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Jack May family during this diffcult time.  Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
