Edna Jeanette Lloyd

Edna Jeannette Lloyd, 92, of Homestead on March 9, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents Howard and Mary Lloyd, sisters Jessie Desmond, June Takacs, Susan Davis and brothers Frank, Earl, and George (Diane) Lloyd. She is survived by Mary (Robert) Agnew and numerous nieces and nephews. After retiring from Union Electric Steel Corporation, Edna volunteered at MUSA, Jefferson Hospital, and Pittsburgh International Airport. Edna was a life long and active member of Anne Ashley Community Church and a fixture when it came to anything sewing, from the costumes for passion plays down to the funeral pall used at the church. She was even known for her custom-made wedding gowns which her family members continue to cherish.

Family and friends received at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 on Wednesday, March 12, from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will take place the following morning, Thursday, March 13, at 10 AM, at Anne Ashley Community Church, 334 22nd Ave, Munhall, 15120. Family requests that everyone meet at the church.
