Edward "Shoes" Michael O'Malley

On January 2, 2024, Edward Michael O’Malley, known to his friends as “Shoes”, age 68,  peacefully passed in his Munhall home. Born to the late John P. and Katherine J. (McGraw) O’Malley of Pittsburgh, he is survived by four sisters: Mary A. (Anthony) Beintend, Kathleen J. (William) Joos, Patricia A. (Wayne Thomas) Kravetz, & Maragret J. O’Malley; and brother, John P. (Kathy) O’Malley, Jr. Edward also leaves behind his significant other and longtime friend of over 30 years, Patricia Pruden, with whom he shares two beloved sons: Michael and Patrick O’Malley; along with many nieces and nephews. An electrician by trade and a good man by the grace of God, Edward will be deeply missed by all whom knew him as he loved nothing more than hanging out and watching sports with his friends and family.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 9, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, ((412)461-6394), where a Blessing Service will take place at 6 PM with Father Dan D’Antonio officiating.
