George E. Monk 83 of Munhall, formerly of Whitaker on July 10,2011  George was a member of Whitaker United Methodist Church and its Bible study, retired steelworker for U.S. Steel Homestead Works, U.S. Army veteran and member of Thompson Run A.A.R.P. Beloved husband of the late Isabelle (Popp), Loving father of Bobbie (Ken) DeVilling of N. Huntingdon, Stepfather of Wyatt(Sandra) Fitzgibbons of Smithton, Pa., Sister of Shirley Barca of Duquesne, Tillie Lynch of Fl. and  (Late) Meriam Sallows, Cherished grandfather of Chad, David, Steven, Richard, Robert, Jacqui, and  Denise. Greatgrandfather of Kody, Dustin, Carly, Connor, Jacob, Amanda and John. Preceded in death by his parents George T. and Catherine (Grable) Monk.
