Georgene Helene Davis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Georgene Helene Davis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who left us on March 31, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on May 21, 1946, in Munhall, to her late parents Joseph "Bimbo" and Helen (Mattiko) Tichon. Georgene dedicated her life to her family and community, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Georgene shared a remarkable 60 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Thomas Charles Davis, whom she leaves behind. Together, they created a beautiful legacy, raising five children: LouAnn, Scott, Sean, Thomas, and the Late Joseph, whom Georgene missed deeply. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, forming bonds that will be cherished forever.

With a great spirit and a warm smile, Georgene was a long-time member of the Mifflin Club, where she enjoyed connecting with friends and sharing stories. As an office cleaner, she took pride in her work, embodying a strong work ethic and dedication.

Georgene's heart thrived through her love for adventure. She delighted in taking long car rides to various destinations, from serene lakes and enchanting forests to the vibrant landscapes of the East Coast and New Mexico. She loved to do everything together with her husband, especially just to "hop in the car and go!". A lover of movies and the music of Neil Diamond, she found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with her loved ones.

Georgene's family takes solace in knowing she has been reunited in heaven with her late son, Joseph Davis – a poignant reminder of the love that transcends time and space.

Georgene Helene Davis will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to inspire us all.
