82, of Hazelwood, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

She was born on April 5, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Louis and Theresa Ruppert.

Gloria moved to Pittsburgh in 1955 after she married to her spouse of 61 years Frank "Mussy" Legnine. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who made friends everywhere she went.

She worked in many local bakeries where she greeted everyone with a warm smile. Most important to her was the love she had for her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends.

In addition to her husband Frank "Mussy" Legnine, she is survived by her three sons, Frank (Barbara), John and Michael (Laura) Legnine; two daughters, Luanne Krebs and Christine (Bob) Hurni;

eight grandchildren including, Anthony (Janice) Legnine, Steven (Michelle) Legnine, Nicole (Joe) Medwick, and Paul Hurni;

five great-grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Savanah, Nicholas and Mason Legnine.

Gloria has one brother and three sisters in Michigan, Louis Ruppert, Theresa Kuhn and Dolores (Stan) Peltier, and a sister Iris (Ray) Searcy of Ohio.

Gloria was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael, in 1951 and a son-in-law, Richard Krebs.

Friends received Thursday from 2 – 8 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen R. C. Church in Hazelwood.
