James Pace

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Pace on November 11, 2024, at the age of 67. Jim was born on July 14, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Stan and Mary Pace.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Art Pace. He is survived by his devoted sister, Donna (Ray) Sloss, and his cherished niece and nephew, Bryan (Sarah) Sloss and Jennifer (Jonn) Kifowit. His stepsons, Eric, Ryan (Jessica), and Curt (Michelle), will dearly miss his selflessness, spirit, and humor. Jim was a proud “Pap” to his grandchildren Blaze and Raina Wheeler, who are grateful for the precious time they shared with him as a loving friend and mentor. Jim dedicated himself to serving others as an EMT first responder, impacting countless lives with his compassion and skill.

Throughout his life, Jim was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He loved supporting and mentoring his grandchildren in their sports and activities, always cheering them on with pride. Known for his uplifting presence, Jim had a unique ability to bring smiles to others, always quick with a joke and a warm smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Despite life’s hardships, he persevered with resilience, greeting the world with kindness and joy.

Family and friends will be received Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, (412)461-6394; where a Funeral Service will take place the following morning at 11 AM with Pastor Bill Galus officiating.
