Jean M. Fagan

Jean M. (Muraca) Fagan was suddenly called home on Sunday, August 11, 2024, this was her 90th year! She was born in West Homestead. She was the wife of the late James A. Fagan, Jr. Both were long-time members of Resurrection Church in West Mifflin and the CYO program. Where he coached the CYO basketball team, and they both chaperoned many CYO activities, from dances to ski trips at Seven Springs. A Woman's Auxiliary member of The American Legion Post 701 in White Oak, where she served as President for several years, and enjoyed helping arrange many activities for its veteran members. She worked as a Medical Transportation Representative for the Allegheny County Access Transportation System, where she was employed for 32 years and retired at age 84. She loved to dance and take her grandchildren shopping! She loved her family, and we loved her. A generous, loving soul! 

Jean is survived by her daughters and their families: 

Lisa (Fagan) McCulloch (RJ); Grandson Christopher (Leah) and great-granddaughters Kyleigh and Kellcey; Granddaughter Jessica (Dylan) and great-granddaughters Milahni and Myla;

Linda (Fagan) Bailey (Kenny); Grandson Joseph Farina (Elise) and great-grandchildren Jack, Luke and Emma; Grandson Dominic Farina (Karen);

Lori Fagan and Shawn Makar; Grandson John Pope (Jennifer) and great-granddaughters Emery and Reese; Granddaughter Ashley Foreman (George) and great-grandchildren Brandi and Georgie. Grandson Cody Makar.

Family and friends received Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish: St. Therese Worship Site, 1 St. Therese Court, Munhall 15120, with Fr.
