Jean Louise Marsh

Jean L. (Cotter) Marsh was called home on the morning of February 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Jean was a Munhall native, married to the love of her life of 70+ years and preceded in death by her husband Kenneth B. Marsh, also of Munhall. Also preceded by brothers Jack (Red) Cotter (Dorothy Hanlon), Robert (Doc) Cotter (Mary Kaye Casey) and sister Lois Kramm (Joseph). Jean and Ken raised their family in West Mifflin and leaves behind their son Kenneth, daughter Karen (David) Kandra, son Keith, grandchildren Amy (Eric) Fehr, Beth Marsh (Joe Clark), Greg Marsh and two great grandchildren, the apples of her eye, Madison and Jackson Fehr. 

Jean was a lifelong member of Anne Ashley Church, an active member of the Midum Circle and a constant helper with the spring and fall “almost famous” Roast Beef Dinner events. She was married and raised her family at Anne Ashley. 

Jean was a bowler, and a pretty good one. For many years she was active in a couples league along with a “women only” league. Several times she achieved high average for the season in both leagues. She was always sure to stop at A&B Donuts after Thursday Women’s league to treat the family for Friday morning.

Family and friends received Friday, February 14, 2025, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 412-461-6394; where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Keith Kaufold officiating.
