Died at his daughter's home July 17 at 91 years old from cancer. Born in Homestead Park to Hilda and John P. Chamberlin. Married for 61 years to Elizabeth (Betty) Chamberlin, who passed away Nov. 2, 2008. Suvived by sister, Ora Noble. Predeceased by sister Lois Brinton on May 25, 2007. Survived by son James R. Chamberlin (Cherie), daughter Joanne Chamberlin (husband Joseph Imbimbo), grandchildren James Chamberlin Jr. (wife Donna), David Chamberlin (wife Michelle), Angela Guitierrez (husband Anthony), and great grandchildren Che-Lynn Chamberlin, Christopher Chamberlin and brandon and Drew Guitierrez. Also survived by niece Jeanie Woncheck (husband David), nephew John Noble (wife Delores) and many grandnieces and nephews.
Graduated from Munhall High School. Served in the army in the South Pacific during WW II. Longtime member of the Homestead Park United Methodist Church and Munhall #4 Volunteer Fire Co.
After retiring from Mesta Machine Co. John and Betty spent 23 happy years in Bradenton FL, where he became involved as a volunteer with Southeast High School sports.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 27 from 10-11 A.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall Pa 15120 412-461-6394 where a memorial service will be at 11 A.M. Inurnment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies
