John Duffy

On June 30, 2011, age 88 of West Mifflin;

Jack was born in Pittsburgh the son of the late Martin and Margaret (Mulligan) Duffy;
Beloved husband of the late Marcella M (O’Toole) Duffy;

Cherished father of Robert (Darlene), Dennis (Roberta) , Shelia (Perry) Tiberio and Jack (Cindy);

Special grandfather of Shawn, John Michael, Erin, Meaghan, Perry and Brendan;

Great – grandfather of Caileigh, Keira and Eamon;

Brother of Peggy Weber;

Preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy and Bill;

Jack was a U.S. navy WW II veteran. He served on the USS Arkansas and saw action in both the European and Pacific Theaters.  He was also a retired brick layer – foreman for US Steel Homestead Works.

Friends received Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall (a selected Golden Rule Member) 412-461-6394.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 11 AM in Holy Spirit R.C. Church West Mifflin.
