On Jan. 26, 2013, age 91, of Munhall. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Durica); loving father of Georgeann (Ivan) Braszo, Joseph (Robin) Fernandez and James Fernandez; cherished grandfather of Ivan (Lauren) Braszo, Jacqueline (Christopher) Nickel, Jillian Braszo and Alec Fernandez; great-grandfather of Rylee Jo Braszo; brother of Maria Casas and the late Anselmo "Babe" Fernandez; brother-in-law of Dorothy Yuracko and the late Anna Mae Rusnak. Joe was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the U.S. Steel Workers Pensioneers Local #1397. Friends will be received on Tues., 7-9 p.m. and Wed., 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 412-461-6394. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs., at 10 a.m. in St. Maximilian Kolbe Church. Memorial donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital and Leukemia Society.
