Kenneth Marchilena

Kenneth Joseph Marchilena, 60, died suddenly Saturday, August 20, 2011 at his home in Nashua. He was born on April 20, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Anthony and Josephine Marchilena.

He was the husband of Beth (Hartman). They were married on June 20, 1975 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kenneth was a 1973 graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where he earned his BS in Math and Physics. He was a 17 year employee at Raytheon, and prior to, worked for 17 years at Digital Equipment Corp.

He was a communicant of St. Kathryn Parish in Hudson. Kenneth was also a member of the Wine Society of Nashua as well as a life-long fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

His brother, Anthony, died previously.

Along with his wife, Beth, survivors include two sons, Joe and Greg; his parents, Anthony and Josephine; a brother, Frank; a sister, Annette; his wife’s sister and her husband, Alice and Tom; three nephews, Michael, Noah, and Stephen; five nieces, Marcy, Kim, Rebekah, Alex, and Rhianna; five grandnieces; and one grandnephew.

Friends received on Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 A.M. in St. Therese R.C. Church Munhall
