Leroy Lynam

On April 16, 2012, age 85, of West Mifflin. Loving husband of the late Verna Lee (Trautman) Lynam; beloved father of Karen (Earl) Bennett, Donna (Marty Becker) Lynam and Valerie (Joseph) Petersen; cherished grandfather of Michael and Tom Bennett, Amanda Carre', Gianna Lee and Sonya Rae Petersen; great-grandfather of Lucas and Abigail Carre'; brother of the late Alice Snizik. Retired engineer from Bettis. 60 year member of H.A.M. Lodge #582 of F.&A.M., where he was worshipful master 1998 to 1999 and Duquesne Lodge #731, Scottish Rite, Syria Temple. He was the twice commander of Ten Mile Power Squadron, U.S.P.S.; 50 year merit recipient; Army Air Force veteran of WWII; member of the V.F.W. Post 914 Intrepid, Elks and Calvary Baptist Church. Friends received on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, 412-461-6394, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m.
