Martin Waters

Martin Waters, 81 of Venetia formerly of Lincoln Place passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital.  

He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Sandy (Mooney) Waters.  Cherished father of Laurie Devine and Chris (Nicole) Waters.  Much loved "Pap - Pap" of Kaitlyn and Bryan Devine and Emily and Olivia Waters.  Son of the late Martin Waters and Charlotte (Castle) Waters.  Brother of the late Charlotte Ann (Stan) Witt, Marilyn Powell and John "Jay" Waters (Sister n law Bonnie Waters survives).  ALso many nieces and nephews.  

Marty was a City of Pittsburgh Police Officer for 35 years, a job he truly loved.  He was an Air Force Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He also enjoyed shooting at the Clairton Gun Club, reading, "Jeopardy" but he truly loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Family and friends received on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1 - 4 & 6 - 9PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA  15120.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish (St. Therese Worship SIte).
