Loving son of Kelly and Amy McVay (Dudek), and loving brother of Lily McVay, died suddenly on October 23, 2023.
Max was an excellent voice impressionist, and had the skill of noticing the subtleties in other’s behaviors. He was a fan of boxing, and loved to work out at L.A. Fitness where he was a beloved employee. Max fell in love with nature, taking care of animals and debating politics, but above all was known for his infectious laugh. Max was a kind soul and would offer his help whenever he could.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather John T. McVay Jr, Grandmother, Mary McVay and Grandfather John Dudek, and Grandmother Blanche Dudek.
He is survived by his Aunt Bonnie Dudek, Uncle Joseph Dudek, Uncle Jack McVay, Uncle Tim McVay, Aunt Mary Zappala (McVay) and Uncle Stephen Zappala Jr. He is also survived by cousins Stephen Zappala III, Samuel Zappala, Michael Zappala and Joseph Zappala.
Max will be so deeply missed by anyone who took the time to know him, his kindness, and his heart.
Donations should be made to any animal shelter of choice or nature preserve.
