Nicholas Novak

Nicholas Novak, age 34, tragically passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. Formerly of West Mifflin, Nick was born in Pittsburgh to parents Ken and Virginia(Gainer) Novak. However, he was raised by his beloved aunt Lana (Gainer) & uncle (and best friend) John Halbleib, both of whom he is survived by. Nick also leaves behind his fiancé of 17 years, Carly Lutheran, whom he shares two wonderful children with: Arionna, age 15, and Chase, age 10. Nick is predeceased by his brother, Austin Lewis; but leaves behind numerous friends and family members that will miss him dearly. Nick was a union laborer, working construction all his life. But if Nick knew how to do one thing, it was to have fun, as he loved to sing karaoke, dance, and ride his motorcycle. He loved his dogs, his family, and to cook; but it is Nick’s infectious smile and fun-loving attitude that will be missed most.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 25, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, ((412)461-6394), where a funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, October 26, at 10 am with Pastor Keith Kaufold officiating.
