Paul D. Barvinchak, Jr.

March 29, 1966 — March 7, 2025

Pittsburgh

Paul D. Barvinchak Jr, 58, of Pittsburgh, PA

The loving husband of Carla (Brown) Barvinchak, the perfect son to Paul D. Barvinchak Sr. (Maureen / Mo) Barvinchak and the late Evelyn (Johns) Link, the big brother to his late sister Heather Link and late brother Edward Link Jr. , Father to Michael Barvinchak and Matthew Barvinchak, and their mother (Kimberly Barvinchak) a “Dad” to Terry Brown (Rachel) and Cortney Steiner (Maria), the best “Pappy” to Rielley, Kyra, Dorian and Katara. Paul leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a great nephew, numerous friends and family, his Moose Brothers and Moose Family, his friends at the Italian Willock Club, friends at Spencer’s Down Under and the Eagles.

Paul proudly served his country in the Army for 4 years enlisting when he was only 17. Paul was a longtime member of the International Order of the Moose receiving the highest Honor of the Pilgrim Degree of Merit. He served a term as deputy Supreme Governor. He also was a member of the Eagles of Clarion, The Willock Italian Club and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union #66 as a foreman and a heavy equipment operator.

Paul was a man of honor, he was the old-fashioned kind, opening doors, saying “I love you” I swear 50 times a day. He was the first person to run and help someone no matter what you needed even a dance partner. He would have fun, dress in crazy outfits for Bingo to make people laugh. He volunteered over 20 years at the Moose to help provide for Mooseheart and Moosehaven. Paul enjoyed fishing with his little boat even though he was the worst fisherman in the world! Paul loved his family, friends and especially his dogs Panda and Annabelle. Paul is pretty much a replica of his dad all the great qualities and a few little quirks. He loved spending time with his Mom "Mo" and Dad enjoying golfing and spending time by the campfire, going to the Moose and the Eagles, long talks and constant messaging. Paul enjoyed hanging out with all the boys, playing Magic the Gathering, or game night watching bowling or baseball. He loved playing with the grandkids and teasing Rielley who isn't a Steelers or Pirate fan.

Paul will be deeply missed by all He is now with his mother, brother sister and his best friend Ron "Babbie". Paul was truly loved
