Richard was a HAM radio operator, a member of the SPARKS Club, veteran of the US Air Force and a retired maintenance foreman for USS Edgar Thompson Works;

Beloved husband of Peggy (Callender) Olenak;

Cherished father of Andrea and Richard (Heather) Olenak II;

Special grandfather of Chianne and Richard III;

Brother of David Olenak and longtime friend of Bill Schraeder;

Friends received Monday 7 – 9 PM and Tuesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall (412-461-6394) where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday 10:oo AM.
