Robert Louis Monaco

Robert Louis Monaco of Pleasant Hills, formerly of West Mifflin PA. Went to be with the Lord suddenly on September 7, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 24, 1953. Loving husband of Laura (Koisor) Monaco. Loving father to Kristina Marie Monaco (Tony Pittinaro), Angela Loren Monaco (Garrett Green). He also had four fur babies Sugar, Toffee, Pepper and Cupcake. He was the son of the late Rose L (Vecchio) Monaco and Michael A Monaco. Brother of Roger (Marie) Monaco and the late Michael and Anthony Monaco. Bob or Bobby as many referred to him wore many hats. He was an Army Veteran and when he came out of the military, he worked for Trumbull Corporation, Mellon Bank, USX Tower, Fifth Avenue Place, and finally the University of Pittsburgh. He loved the outdoors and most of all his landscaping of his yard. He would spend hours in the yard and his work was always done with accuracy and beauty. He loved his daughters; they were the light and pride of his life. He also loved his kittens as he called them, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Fur All Kitty's of West Mifflin in Bob's memory. 

To honor Bob’s wishes there will be no viewing, a Memorial Service will be at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church Pleasant Hills, PA, on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
