Ruth Ann Thomay

Ruth Ann Thomay of McMurray formerly of Munhall passed away on June 7, 2024.  She was born in Pottsville, PA the daughter of the late Ed and Ann Petchesky.  She was a very proud U.S. Navy Veteran where she served as a nurse.  Ruth also was a nurse at the former Homestead Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late John Thomay.  Cherished mother of Kenneth Hay, Suzanne Harman, Pamela Newman and the late Faith Martonik.  Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and special great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren.  Family and friends received on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 10am till time of Blessing Service at 11am at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA  15120.  Please share your memories and condolences at greenfuneralhome.com.
