Ruth Ann Gregory

Ruth Ann Gregory, of Munhall passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of 87.  

Ruth was born in Munhall the daughter of the late Carl M. & Regina (Salzmann) Jonash.  Beloved wife of the late Merle R. Marsh and Russell E. Gregory both of Munhall.  Cherished mother of Russell L. (Jennifer) Marsh, Mitzi (Michael) Falcona and Marianne M. (James) McGrath. Special step mother of Russell W. (Janice) Gregory, William (Linda) Gregory and the late Bruce (wife Kathy survives) Gregory.  Loving grandmother of Brandon (Brenna) Marsh, Haley (Colby) Cline, Leah Gatto, Katelyn Mcgrath, Carlee McGrath, Kristin (Chris) Graham, Marilyn (Brad) Fisher, Steven (Kelly) Gregory, Edward (Melissa) Gregory, Tyler (Zoe) Johnson and Allison Deeds.  Great grandmother of Jake, Sophia, Bruce, Colin, Nolan, Piper, Logan, Odin, Heidi, Amara, and Stevie Ray.  

She graduated from Munhall High School, worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance company in Munhall and later worked in the cafeteria at Bechtel (Westinghouse) Bettis in West Mifflin.  Ruth loved baking (especially cakes & cookies), planting flowers watching & feeding the birds and squirrels (especially her favorite squirrel named Herman).  She was proud to sell roast beef dinners for her church Anne Ashley United Methodist and hoagies for the Munhall Central V.F.D. (formerly known as Munhall # 3 V.F.D.).

Family and friends received on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8pm at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:30am with Pastor Keith Kaufold officiating.
