STEPHENSON TODD LEWIS
Of Munhall, on February 15, 2012, after a long illness. Beloved husband of 44 years of Lynn (Purvis) Stephenson and the loving father of Warren Purvis Stephenson; preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lorth Stephenson and Madeline Lewis Stephenson of Squirrel Hill, and his brother, Robert, Jr. Survived by his brother, Jerry (Janet) Stephenson and their daughter (his Goddaughter), Mary; also survived by sister-in-law, Linda (Clifford) Claypool and Jane Roth; uncle of many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A graduate of Point Park College, Todd served as a Air Force Supply Sergeant in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He worked at U.S. Steel Homestead Works for 20 years in Mill Accounting, and retired from the Pennsylvania State Liquor Control Board, Penn Hills store. He also loved the seashore, especially Avalon, NJ, and enjoyed model railroading, traveling to historical sites, dining out, and attending dog shows. He especially enjoyed his family dogs. Friends received on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, 412-461-6394, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Interment following at Homewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Homestead Park United Methodist Church, 4231 Shady Ave., Munhall, PA 15120 or Animal Rescue League, 6620 Hamilton Ave., Pgh., PA 15206.
