He was a member of St. Agnes R.C. Church and the Knights of Columbus Council # 4210. Beloved husband to Ann F. (Mineweaser), loving father to Victoria (James) Mogush of Level Green, Paul (Sherry) of Greensburg, Richard (Denise) of West Mifflin, Marie (James) Srock of Mars, and Vincent (Gaylene) of N. Huntingdon. Brother of Raymond (Shirley) Merritt of Bentleyville. Cherished grandfather to Michael, Christopher, Kimberly, Stephen, Sean, Kyle, Maura, Bryan, David, Jimmy, Angela, Jessica, Felicia, Breanna, and Sara. Preceded in death by his parents John Victor and Marie (Barancak) Merritt and sister Genevieve Obringer. Friends received on Monday 2 to 4 pm and Tuesday 2 to4 and 7 to 9 pm at George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main Street Munhall. Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday in St Agnes R.C.
