William Wiechelt

On July 20, 2011, age 88 of Munhall Gardens;

Bill was born in West Homestead the son of the late Albert and Margaret Wiechelt;

He was a WWII Veteran and P.O.W., serving in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Union Railroad;

Beloved husband of the late Mary (Powers) Wiechelt;

Cherished father of Sondra Louise Penta, of Massachusetts, Judy Ann Kraycar, of West Virginia and Susan Rae Baum, of Munhall;

Special grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren;

Friends received Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall, (a selected Golden Rule Member) 412-461-6394 where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM.
